Been doing a lot of stuff and I haven’t had time to put my documentation together. When I am on the computer, I seldom have time to go on tumblr to post here, but anyway I am super excited to be printing this series out. I was playing around with the colour settings and I was suddenly sooo AMAZED at how fabulous this looks with a grey/black background!
Anyway, I have been thinking of ways to print this series, in all of its neon glory, in an affordable manner. So I thought of really doing it the Warhol Factory way. Got my hands (and toilet) dirty trying to silkscreen but failed miserably. I stressed about it the whole morning yesterday before thinking of linocuts. It will take more time for sure, but it’s the only way I can make multiple prints on this on different things.
Will be having a booth at Public Garden’s art market next weekend at National Museum of Singapore, hope to produce this gurls in time for the event.
re-interpreting the “selfies” of some famous women in art, in the context of the Internet/tumblr era
Super awesome illustrations of the Adventure Time princesses in human. Look at Marceline, that sexy vampire queen. LSP looks just like how I imagine her to be like in human.
I just finished up an Adventure Time inspired illustration myself. Sharing it next post!

Was at books actually with my friend yesterday and I was reminded of my favourite poem. This is by David Levithan, some of my favourite lines from a long poem entitled The Day from his book The Realm of Possibility…. Yes I think I have mentioned it before somewhere on this blog before. A few years before I printed my favourite lines and pasted on my journal. Of the many (too many) books I own, this is one that I come back to again and again, to flip through some of Levithan’s poetry and let my feelings swim there for a bit.
Anyway I have uploaded my zine Letters In Arial on Issuu. You can read it here.
